For most of the last decade, a Saturday in Land O' Lakes looked like a drive. You picked between Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel, the Tampa Premium Outlets exit, or a run down US-41 to whatever was open in Lutz. The town itself was somewhere you slept between errands.
That has changed, and it has changed unevenly. The weekend gravity in Land O' Lakes now pulls in two very different directions, and which one you drift toward is starting to say something about where in town you actually live. On one side of the Suncoast Parkway sits the Hub at Bexley, a compact commercial block on Focus Loop that keeps adding sit-down operators. On the other side, off SR-52, sits the Farm at Angeline, where the weekend rhythm is set by what is ripe and who is set up under a tent.
The Hub is a roughly 50,000-square-foot lifestyle center that blends modern design and urban-inspired detail with outdoor entertainment, dining and shopping inside Bexley by Newland. It was a bright commercial district that opened in 2022 with a covered turf lawn in the middle, and it now anchors most of the walkable dining in this half of Land O' Lakes. As of spring 2026 the property was a newly-constructed retail center with 100% occupancy and a strong WALT of 6 years, meaning the tenants who signed on early are largely still there. What follows is what that lineup looks like today.

The point of listing them out is not to make the Hub sound bigger than it is. It is compact. The point is that four years in, the operators who took a chance on Focus Loop are still there, and new ones keep signing. That is not the usual arc for a suburban lifestyle center.
The most useful data point of 2026 is Stillwaters Tavern. Stillwaters Tavern opened a new location in early June at The Hub at Bexley in Land O' Lakes, bringing its Modern American concept to Pasco County, with the restaurant at 16729 Focus Loop being the second restaurant at the mixed-use center for Tampa Bay–based 2BHospitality, which already operates BellaBrava at the site.
That is the same operator doubling down on the same address. Stillwaters Tavern has operated on Beach Drive in downtown St. Petersburg for nearly a decade and is known for its scratch kitchen and bar program centered on draft beer and cocktails, and the Bexley location will follow the same model, with about 20 beers on tap, wine on tap and a full bar, a menu including house-made sausages and chicken schnitzel along with rotating seasonal offerings, and lunch, dinner and weekend brunch service. The nearest peer to that concept is a fifteen-minute drive south. Now it is a walk across the courtyard from a Publix run.
For anyone tracking the direction of travel, an industry read on why this happened is the plainest tell: the addition of Stillwaters Tavern adds another sit-down restaurant at the center as residential growth continues to drive demand for dining tied to master-planned communities. Rooftops arrived first. The operators followed. That order matters, because it explains why the next round of openings is likely to keep skewing toward independents and small groups rather than another wave of national chains.
EggBred is the other one to watch on Focus Loop. EggBred, a California-based breakfast and brunch concept, is targeting an opening at 16916 Focus Lp #10 in Land O' Lakes, and the fast-casual, chef-driven brand will be the 10th unit for EggBred, which first launched in La Habra during the pandemic, focusing on craft breakfast sandwiches made with fresh-cracked eggs, proprietary protein blends, and breads from local bakeries, alongside items like breakfast burritos, poutines, waffles, and coffee from a California roaster, with the Land O' Lakes location offering indoor seating plus patio tables in the courtyard at The Hub at Bexley.
Two openings, both from operators who could have picked anywhere in Tampa Bay, both landing on the same 300-foot stretch of Focus Loop. That is the Bexley half of the story.
Head northwest, cross the Suncoast Parkway, and you land in the other Land O' Lakes weekend. Angeline is a 6,200-acre master-planned community developed by Metro, and its social center is not a lifestyle block. It is a farm.
The Farm at Angeline is a working farm right in the middle of the suburbs that fuels the farm-to-table cool of Wild Thyme Cafe & Market just a few feet away. "People like to say we have a nice 'garden' here, but we like to think we have a full production farm," says farm manager Bobby Dileo. The small but mighty farm is a community hub, offering a farmers market, workshops, and field trips and classes for the neighborhood's school, and it provides freshly harvested produce to Wild Thyme, a culinary destination that bases its lunch and dinner specials on what's growing next door.
Wild Thyme itself sits at the entrance to Angeline, in the community Welcome Center just off State Road 52 near the Suncoast Parkway, serving breakfast, lunch and light bite options, along with a curated selection of beers, wines and seltzers. The hours are worth memorizing if you live nearby: the café is open Wednesday and Thursday from 10-6, Friday and Saturday from 10-8, and Sunday from 11-6. It is closed Monday and Tuesday, which is the sort of detail residents figure out on their second failed attempt.
The market side of Angeline is where the weekend calendar comes in. The Angeline Farmers Market runs every third Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM at 11725 Angeline Pl, with stalls of organic fruits and vegetables, homemade jams, fresh-baked bread and handmade crafts, plus live music, cooking demonstrations, and family-friendly activities. And beginning this summer there is a new layer on top of it: Discovery Days at Angeline is a curated summer preview event hosted by Tampa Bay Markets, designed to introduce the community to an experience-driven quarterly market series launching in June 2026, bringing together a curated mix of local vendors, food trucks, and community partners.

That is a real calendar. Two years ago it was not.
A useful test: think about what you did last Saturday morning. If it involved a coffee counter you walked to, a courtyard your kids ran across, and a bar tab that came with a schnitzel, you probably live inside a fifteen-minute radius of Focus Loop. If it involved a canvas tote, a bunch of basil still warm from the sun, and a chat with the person who grew it, you probably live closer to Pleasantview Blvd.
Neither weekend is better. They are aimed at different appetites. The Bexley weekend is dense, walkable, and increasingly late-night. The Angeline weekend is agricultural, seasonal, and family-first, with a school-year rhythm baked in. What they share, and what makes the summer of 2026 feel different from the summer of 2024, is that neither one requires you to leave Land O' Lakes to get a decent Saturday out of it.
There is a real estate footnote to all of this, and it is short. When operators like 2B Hospitality open a second concept in the same center, and when California breakfast chains pick Focus Loop for their tenth unit, they are placing bets on the household counts around them. Those bets are visible in the everyday texture of the town. If you are already here, this is your dividend for having gotten in early. If you are thinking about where in Land O' Lakes to plant, the Saturday test is a better filter than a school map or a commute time. Go stand in both places. Whichever one already feels like your weekend is the one to look at.
